ADULT GROUPS

ABOUT

Our Adult Groups Ministry seeks to connect members of Highland to community to grow in faith, fellowship, and to be on mission for the good of the church, their neighbors, and the world in accordance with the example given to us in the early church in Acts 2:42 “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

The role of the local church is to equip believers to be ministers of the Gospel in word and deed. At Highland, we do this primarily through preaching, teaching, and living out God’s Word through corporate worship, Adult Bible Fellowships, Bible Studies, Community Groups, and Soul Care.

ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIP

Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) are Bible study classes that meet weekly on Sundays on Highland’s Campus to grow in the knowledge of God’s word and to build community in your specific life stage or multi-generationally.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

Individual Adult Bible Fellowship classes will take a break for the summer months and resume on August 23. In the meantime, join us for Summer Study on Sunday mornings in the Chapel.

If you would like to connect to a group, contact Alex Cook and we will help you do so!

BIBLE STUDY

Our Bible Studies are dedicated to the in-depth study of God's Word in the context of relationship. Highland Bible Studies are offered each Fall and Spring semester on Wednesday nights or Thursday mornings. We gather at round tables to build community and a large group teaching time.

Highland Men and Highland Women will kick off our Fall Bible studies on the book of Romans on Wednesday Sept. 9 and Thursday Sept. 10.

You can register for the Fall Women's Bible Study or the Men's Bible Study below.

SOUL CARE

Soul Care Groups provide a safe and compassionate environment for those seeking healing from sin and suffering through Christ, His Word, and biblical community. If you are experiencing grief, brokenness, divorce, addiction, infertility, sin's harmful effects, suffering, and hurt, please consider joining us on a Thursday night and contact Aaron Harder.

Kicking off Sept. 3, each Thursday will begin with worship, teaching, and testimonies at 6:30pm in the Chapel, followed by small groups meeting across Highland's campus until 8:30pm.

Childcare is offered through 5th grade.

Workbooks are sold on site.
