EQUIP

Equip is a college event that meets each Sunday evening at 5:15pm in the Highland Chapel, usually around tables, to deeply study God's Word on relevant topics for college students. Equip exists to inspire college students to deeply know God, love His Word, and build up the body of Christ.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

Join a Group

Our College CGs are groups that are led by trained college leaders and meet in students’ homes, apartments, or dorms. Stay tuned for opportunities to find a CG on Sept. 2 at our first fall College Night of the semester!

OUTREACH GROUPS (AIM & ALPHA)

AIM

Aim is an outreach ministry that holds an Acts 20:24 vision of “our only aim” being to testify to the Good News of Jesus. Aim groups meet weekly for prayer, encouragement, and then a time of outreach to share the love of God with others, pray with others, and invite others into a deeper relationship with God through Jesus. ALPHA

Alpha is a one-semester small group that meets for honest and open conversations about faith. Through weekly meetings, Alpha gently teaches the gospel of Jesus through conversations and dialogue. YEAR AT A GLANCE

Highland Leader College (HLC) is for college students that desire to spend a summer in Waco using their spiritual gifts while growing in spiritual fruit. Applications will open in the Fall. Email Drew Humphrey if you have any questions.
Spring Break Mission Trips
Each year, Highland College Ministry sends college students on two Spring Break Mission Trips: a team with Beach Reach in South Padre Island and several teams to the UK! Applications will open for both trips in the Fall. Email Drew-Humphrey@hbcwaco.org if you have any questions.
Commons is a conference to inspire and equip college students to live life on mission with God. This 3 day event will provide essential skills for making an impact on campus and across the globe. The conference is hosted by Highland, but over 30 churches participate each year. Main sessions speakers like Paul Worcester, Jonathan Pokluda, and more. Worship led by Highland's own Seth Payne and the team! Join us and register HERE for only $25.

FREEDOM FIGHT

Freedom Fight is a ministry for college students who want to strengthen their fight against sexual sin. Students will join a same-gender group, facilitated by a trained leader, for accountability, confession, and to learn strategies to experience victory over sin through Christ Jesus.
