Middle School

Meet us at 10am in the Youth Room each Sunday for Student Connection!
Each Sunday during the school year, all students in grades 6-12 will meet in the Youth Room (1st floor Education Building) for announcements, Scripture reading, worship, before MS splits into grade specific classrooms. Adult leaders will teach and engage the students with God’s Word.
Meet us at 6:30pm in the Youth Room each Wednesday for Midweek!
Each Wednesday night, all students in grades 6-8 will gather in the Basement (MS Room between doors F & G, beneath the Chapel) for games, worship, teaching, and small groups. Small groups are led by trusted college students & young adult leaders who have a passion for God's Word and for discipleship.

High School

Meet us at 10am in the Youth Room each Sunday for Student Connection!
Each Sunday morning, all students in grades 6-12 will gather in the Youth Room (1st floor Education Building) for announcements, Scripture reading, & worship, before splitting into multiple breakouts. Adult leaders, staff, and guest speakers will engage students in a number of different topics that operate on a 6-8 week rotation.
Meet us at 6:30pm in the Youth Room each Wednesday for Midweek!
All students in grades 9-12 rally in the Youth Room! For the 2025-2026 School Year, we will study five Minor Prophets. Wednesday night rotates through the following formats: Midweek Gathering, where students will enjoy a large snack, fellowship, student-led worship, and Biblical teaching; Midweek Small Groups, where students will come together for worship and an opening activity before splitting into grade/gender-specific Small Groups; Midweek Hybrid, where students will gather for worship, Biblical teaching, and Small Groups.

UPCOMING EVENTS

August 26, 6:30pm-8pm
Come celebrate the launch of our fall semester with our all-HSM kickoff! We will be in the Gold Lot at Highland. We'll have dinner, worship, games, and cast vision about the upcoming year at HSM. Open to all grades 6th - 12th. We'd love to see you there!
November 13-15
Join us for our Middle School Retreat, Renew! We will travel to the beautiful Pineywoods Camp in Woodlake, TX for a weekend full of fun, spiritual renewal, community, and connecting with the Lord. Worship, small groups, zip lines, campfires, good food, and games - it’s a weekend you won’t want to miss! This is a time for students to deepen their relationship with Jesus, strengthen friendships, and create new ones. This retreat is open to any student in grades 6–8! Stay tuned for registration!
November 20-22
Shalom is an overnight retreat for students in grades 9-12 only, an HSM favorite! Join us for the whole weekend, Nov. 20-22, as we begin Friday evening and finish by attending the 11:20AM Gathering altogether. Shalom aims at getting high school students out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and into an environment where they can rest, experience God, and hang out with friends. Stay tuned for registration!
December 9, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Come be a part of one of our favorite yearly events, the HSM Christmas party! Full of fun, worship, Christmas costumes, and much more, this event is a great space to event friends, celebrate the year, and be reminded of the coming of Christ as a baby. Stay tuned for more details!
February 12-14, 2027
Disciple Now is a student ministry weekend retreat. Students stay in homes here in Waco, divided up by grade and gender. The weekend is also packed full of worship, teaching, games, and food! DNOW is a great time for familiar and new students to get to know one another and connect to the student ministry as a whole! Stay tuned for registration!

College students and young adults who want to disciple students weekly through small group discussion and attending our large group gatherings and events.
Parents and young adults who want to engage our students in God’s Word through teaching curriculum and facilitating large group discussions.
Parents who want to serve our students and volunteers by helping us host them for special events or leader training events.
Help brainstorm and execute 2-3 fundraising events each year with the goal to support our students’ Camp and Mission Trip costs.
