The Wellness Center is a local outreach arm of Highland Baptist Church, strategically located in the Dean Highland Neighborhood. This ministry hub offers tangible help and heartfelt hope through spiritual encouragement, education, resources, and partnerships. Whether meeting physical needs, sharing the Gospel, or building relationships, the Wellness Center is a place where lives are impacted and Christ is made known.

Highland Urgent Care es un proveedor de servicios de atención médica especializado en brindar atención médica inmediata para condiciones que no ponen en peligro la vida. La instalación está equipada para abordar una variedad de necesidades médicas urgentes, que incluyen lesiones leves, enfermedades y servicios médicos de rutina. Esto incluye tratamiento para tos, resfriados, gripe, infecciones, dolor de oído, erupciones cutáneas, laceraciones, traumas menores y lesiones. Our team of qualified healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and physician assistants, work to deliver prompt and reliable medical services. No insurance or ID necessary. The city of Waco has partnered with Highland Wellness Center to provide guidance to their Home Rehabilitation, Homebuyer down payment assistance, and Section 8 Housing programs. Each program has unique set of guidelines, but Highland volunteers guide potential applicants through the process here in our computer lab. Here is city website with more information of programs.

Highland Baptist is excited to partner with Together for Good to provide parent advocate volunteers and host homes for families in need. At Together for Good, they provide crisis hosting’s, respite care, relational support, and wrap-around care so that no family walks alone. You can get more information at their website Tfgood.org.

Highland offers citizenship classes for anyone that is looking at preparing, training, and getting documentation ready in order to apply for US citizenship. If this interest you please attend a session to better determine what steps and assistance is needed for each individual or family.
