Highland Women exists to provide intentional environments where women can walk together as disciples of Jesus. Our desire is to equip women to know God, to grow in Christ together, and to make disciples in our spheres of influence.

GATHER

Highland gathers every Sunday in the Life Center (across from the Red and Blue Lots). Learn more HERE.

We also welcome all women to come together at our Women's special events. Each event is a unique space for women to worship, to hear God’s Word proclaimed, and to set our hope on the gospel together.

GROW

We are committed to helping women of all ages mature in their faith, as we grow together in a true and personal knowledge of God. Highland’s primary points of connection for adults are through Adult Bible Fellowships and Connection Groups. Below are additional opportunities for Highland women to mature in our faith together.

  • Bible Studies are dedicated to the in-depth study of God's Word in the context of relationship. Fall & Spring | Study Options: Wednesdays, 6:30-8pm (childcare available) or Thursdays, 9:30-11am (no childcare available). Fall semester registration is now open.

  • Small groups that meet eight–twelve weeks to grow in Christlikeness and learn to disciple others. New groups launch each February, June, and October. Summer groups are now closed.

  • Focused, time-limited care for those walking through difficult seasons.

    Assessment Form

  • For Highland moms of children ages 0–4. A place of spiritual nurturing, fun, and fellowship.
    Fall semester registration will open soon.

  • Ministry for single mother households at Highland. Spring semester registration is now closed.

GO

The end result of gathering and growing together is that believers then serve and advance the gospel. This is how we know that we are truly maturing in our faith in Christ. 

Highland women are encouraged to intentionally serve the broader community of Highland and to partner with Highland’s mission in the community and in the world.

As a ministry, Highland Women is pressing into specific Go opportunities together in 2026. We invite you to commit to one of the ministries below:

  • Sundays | 8–8:30am | Wellness Center, Multipurpose Room A

    Women gather weekly to pray for one another and for our church. Contact: Emily Kelly.

  • Gatesville, TX

    Partner with Discipleship Unlimited to visit the nearby women’s prison. 

    Partnership Form

  • Share the love of Christ with Baylor University international students during their time here in Waco.

    INTEREST FORM

  • Sept. 3-12 & Oct. 29-Nov. 7 | South Asia

    Pray and give to the two Highland Women teams headed to South Asia to share the gospel alongside local believers. Learn about our missions partner HERE. Give towards the Sept. team HERE. Give towards the Oct. team fund HERE.

  • Every January & August | Drive-Thru Dinner at the Wellness Center

    Single moms & their families receive a meal and prayer from Highland staff & volunteers. Next dinner: August 2026.
